Return and refund policy

In effect as of September 19, 2026

This policy distinguishes three very different things: the hardware you buy, the recurring services you subscribe to, and the work we bill by the hour. These terms are in addition to the Terms of use and prevail over them on any point specific to returns and refunds. By purchasing an item or a service from InfoXtreme, the client accepts them.

1. Hardware (phones, cartridges, equipment)

An item that works and matches what you ordered is not taken back. We help you choose before the purchase precisely to spare you this situation: tell us what the device will be used for, and we will tell you whether it meets that need.

A defective item is another story. If it arrives defective, or if it stops working within its warranty, it is replaced or refunded in full. Shipping costs are on us and no fees are withheld.

Let us know before sending anything back: we will tell you how to proceed, and an item returned without prior agreement cannot be processed.

2. Recurring services (hosting, backup, telephony, email)

These services are billed in advance for the coming period. A period that has begun is not refunded: cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. A client who cancels before the start of a new period owes nothing for it.

Third-party fees are never refundable once incurred: the domain names, whose registration is final as soon as it is purchased from the registrar, and the annual licences for phone systems.

3. Work billed by the hour

Time already spent on a job is not refundable. If a job did not produce the agreed result, talk to us: we redo the work at our expense rather than issue a refund.

4. Warranty

The hardware we sell is covered by its manufacturer’s warranty, whose duration and conditions vary by product. We tell you that duration at the time of purchase and help you with any claim, at no charge for our time.

Our services are provided with competence and diligence. We do not guarantee that a service will run without any interruption: no provider can honestly promise that. We guarantee to restore the service as quickly as possible and to keep you informed.

Nothing in this policy reduces the rights that the Consumer Protection Act grants to Quebec consumers.

5. Our liability

Our liability to you, for any cause, is limited to the amount you paid for the item or service in question.

We are not liable for indirect damages: loss of profits, loss of clientele, loss or corruption of data, interruption of your business. This limit does not apply in the event of gross or intentional fault on our part, nor to bodily injury.

6. How to make a request

Write to info@info-xtreme.com or call 450 889-7163, stating your invoice number and the reason for the request. We respond within three business days and tell you how to proceed.

An accepted refund is credited to the original method of payment.

7. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws applicable in Quebec. Any dispute falls under the courts of the judicial district of Joliette.
