Terms of service for web hosting and domain names<\/h2>\n

1. Purpose<\/h2>\n

These terms govern theweb hosting<\/strong>,email hosting<\/strong> and domain name management<\/strong> services provided by InfoXtreme inc. They are in addition to the Terms of use<\/a> and the Privacy policy<\/a>, which continue to apply. In the event of a discrepancy on a point specific to hosting or domain names, these terms prevail.<\/p>\n

2. Plans and what they include<\/h2>\n

Unlimited bandwidth means normal use for a business website. InfoXtreme may contact a client whose usage affects the operation of the shared server, in order to agree on a solution.<\/p>\n

3. Space used and overage<\/h2>\n

The space used includes the site files, databases, mailboxes and logs. InfoXtreme monitors the space used and contacts the client when they approach the limit of their plan<\/strong>, so that they can clean up or move to a higher plan.<\/p>\n

Prolonged overage may result in a move to the plan matching actual usage, after agreement with the client. InfoXtreme does not interrupt a live site without notice for this reason.<\/p>\n

4. Backups<\/h2>\n

InfoXtreme performs a daily backup of the hosting server<\/strong>, for recovery purposes in the event of a disaster affecting the server.<\/p>\n

This backup is not a backup service for the client’s site.<\/strong> It covers the server, its retention period is not guaranteed, and it does not replace a copy that the client would keep themselves. The client remains responsible for keeping their own copy of their site, databases and emails. InfoXtreme also offers separate backup services, which are covered by a separate agreement.<\/p>\n

5. Availability<\/h2>\n

InfoXtreme uses reasonable means to keep the services accessible at all times, without being able to guarantee constant availability. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, security updates, or due to causes beyond our control. Planned interruptions are announced in advance whenever possible.<\/p>\n
